Rush Admin — Lead Generation Back-Office
Work | Apr 23 2026 | Tom Von Lahndorff
Rush Admin
Rush is a lead generation platform I built and maintained. It collects consumer information through multi-step forms across a network of client websites, then monetizes those leads by routing them to advertising partners. The admin is where the team manages everything from one interface.
The Dashboard

The main dashboard is a live snapshot of the business. Revenue figures for today, yesterday, and the 14-day average are displayed at the top, along with post counts and active offers. A live feed shows form submissions as they come in, color-coded by recency — green means it just happened, yellow means within the last 10 minutes.
The bottom half includes an AI performance summary (generated by Claude every 15 minutes), a 7-day revenue chart, top-performing offers, and intraday revenue trends. The idea is that you open this page and immediately know what's going on without clicking around.
Page Builder

The page builder is a visual editor for creating landing pages. Each page is made up of blocks — hero sections, forms, offer groups, CTAs, FAQs, and about 25 other types. Pages are organized by category (debt, mortgage, insurance, healthcare, etc.) and each one shows a live thumbnail preview. You can favorite pages, duplicate them, or archive ones you're not using.
AI-Powered Content Generation

This is probably my favorite feature (The example shown here is very basic). The Smart Block tool lets you chat with Claude directly inside the page builder. You describe what you want — "make the hero background green" or "create a new FAQ section about eligibility" — and Claude generates or modifies the page code in real time. The live preview updates immediately so you can see exactly what you're getting. You can feed it screenshots of competitor pages as reference, select which sections to modify, and iterate until it's right. It's like pair-programming your landing pages.
Form Builder

The form builder handles multi-step lead collection forms. On the left, you define your questions — text fields, radio buttons, date pickers, dropdowns, and more. In the center, you arrange them into nodes (steps), and the right panel shows a live preview of exactly what the end user will see. Forms support custom themes and color palettes, so each client site can have its own look without writing any CSS.
Offer Theme Editor

Offers are what users see after submitting a form — relevant deals, services, or products matched to their responses. The theme editor lets you design how those offers look. You pick colors from a palette, upload images, and write custom CSS if you need fine control. The live preview on the right updates as you make changes. Themes can be shared across multiple offers so everything stays consistent.
Server Dashboard

Behind the scenes, there's a separate ops dashboard I built for monitoring the infrastructure. It shows the status of the Lightsail container service, GitHub Actions deployments, database and container performance metrics, and domain management — all in one dark-themed interface with real-time auto-refresh. The system runs background health checks every 5 minutes and sends email alerts if anything looks off, like elevated error rates or API timeouts. Claude also analyzes server logs periodically to surface patterns I might miss.
The Stack
The platform runs on PHP 8.2 with Nginx, containerized on AWS Lightsail behind CloudFront. Data lives in MySQL on RDS, with DynamoDB for configuration and content. The admin is vanilla JavaScript with Chart.js for visualizations — no frontend framework. The ops dashboard is a separate Node.js app with Server-Sent Events for real-time updates. Everything deploys through GitHub Actions with conflict detection to prevent overlapping deployments.
